Prof. Pearce stepping down from the cab of Austin & Texas Central Railroad Mikado #786. The engine is ex Texas & New Orleans (i.e. Southern Pacific) MK-5 Mikado built in 1916 by the Brooks Works (Dunkirk NY) of the American Locomotive Company (ALCO). 786 is operated by the Austin Steam Train Association Saturdays & Sundays from Cedar Park to Burnet TX.
