Research Team

Dr. Pearce’s research team can normally be found working diligently in ENS 634.

John Porterfield

John Porterfield received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering with honors from Oklahoma State University, and completed his M.S. May 2006 at The University of Texas at Austin.  His current research involves early detection of congestive heart failure.

Anil Kottam

Anil Kottam received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Cochin University of Science and Technology in India and an M.S. from The University of Texas at Austin.  His current research centers around novel methods for ischemia detection. 

Karthik Raghavan

Karthik Raghavan received his B.E. with honors in Electronics and Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India and his M.S. from The University of Texas at Austin.  His current research includes development of telemetric circuitry for real-time data acquisition from ambulatory animals.

Daniel Fernandez

Daniel Fernandez recently received his B.S and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.  His research included the circuit design for our admittance measurement system.
